About

Years ago I learned just enough code to update the copy on our app and website myself. That’s all I learned.

You don’t need to do that anymore. A coding agent can write and change code for you. You describe what you want in plain English, the agent finds the right files and makes the edit, and you review it before it goes live.

Last week I asked people which coding agent they’d keep if they could only have one.

On Friday, I’ll walk through the most popular options and show you how to take small code changes from start to finish.

Getting the agent to write the code is the easy part. Whether you get what you wanted comes down to what happens before it starts and after it finishes. A good plan doesn’t mean the work followed it, so I’ll show you what to check once it’s done, including the changes an agent makes without being asked.

If you’re not technical and have been curious about coding agents, this should be useful.

You’ll leave with a checklist for getting started and the three questions to ask before you approve any change.

See you Friday.
